About

Alliant Energy provides utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) to improve grid reliability and manage peak demand in Iowa, with projects in Decorah, Cedar Rapids, Wellman, Marshalltown and a planned Lansing deployment. Their systems store renewable energy such as solar, focus on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistries, and they offer guidance on Level 3 EV charging stations that incorporate batteries.
